Residence
Bronte College of Canada is a boarding school; we own and operate our student residence.
International students are required to stay in residence until graduation. The campus residence offers safe and comfortable rooms to 300 students; the majority of the rooms are for single occupancy. Only a limited number of shared rooms are available. Living in the residence is ideal and convenient, especially during the winter months when students do not have to brave the cold temperatures to attend classes. Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the school, in the residence, and on the school grounds.
The residence rooms have a traditional layout. A single room consists of a bed with bedding, closet, study desk, and a sink with vanity. Each room is wired for telephone and internet use. Residence rooms are cleaned weekly by a member of the cleaning staff at Bronte College.
Even though Bronte College is co-educational, the residence is not. Male and female students are restricted to different levels of the residence building and are closely monitored 24 hours per day.
Bathroom/washroom facilities are shared with four or five students. Each residence level has a television lounge for students to relax and watch their favourite TV programs. For a minimal cost, students are able to use the coin-operated laundry facilities (washers and dryers) in the residence building.
